This second version of SoilX has been stripped down from the original version that required Google Fusion Tables.
Contributors to this stripped down version are Kaitie Purdue and Francis Jones, with support from Novak Rogic of the WordPress support team at the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology.

Saeed Dyanatkar

Saeed Dyanatkar – Digital Producer
Saeed’s interest in the applications of emerging media in education inspired him to come up with the idea behind SOILx. With support from Dr. Maja Krzic and the project team, he managed to successfully produce SOILx as an open source tool for research and education in soil science.

Julie Wilson

Julie Wilson is the Academic Coordinator for the Master of Land and Water Systems program at UBC. She is the science content developer for several of the Virtual Soil Science Learning Resources, including SOILx.

Chris Crowley

Chris Crowley is a Senior Manager for the University of British Columbia’s Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Technology.

Nathan Sidles

Nathan Sidles is a Bachelor of Computer Science student who focuses on the intersection of computer science and biology.

Shirley Ho

Shirley Ho is a freelance graphic designer and developer with a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Systems (Computational Intelligence & Design).

Dr. Maja Krzic

Dr. Maja Krzic is an Associate Professor of Soil Sciences with a joint appointment in the Faculties of Land and Food Systems and Forestry at The University of British Columbia. Her email address is maja.krzic@ubc.ca.

Dr. Angela Bedard-Haughn

Dr. Angela Bedard-Haughn Angela teaches at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, where she researches how pedologic properties affect, and are affected by, land use and climate change.

Dr. Nathan Basiliko

Dr. Nathan Basiliko is a faculty member at the Vale Living with Lakes Centre, Laurentian University, Sudbury, ON researching greenhouse gas fluxes, carbon and nutrient cycles.

Dr. Paul Sanborn

Dr. Paul Sanborn has worked and studied in the field of soil science for 30 years. He teaches and researches at the University of Northern British Columbia.

Kent Watson

Kent Watson specializes in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and Soil Science at Thompson Rivers University.
